  • Guide and coordinate design tasks with other team members to ensure highquality deliverables that meet schedule and budget expectations.
  • Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.
  • Develop technical and price proposals.
  • Work closely with practice leaders, office leadership, and client development teams to support both your professional growth and STV's strategic goals.
  • Build strong working relationships with client technical staff and project managers.
  • Mentor and support junior civil engineering staff.

What You Bring

  • Proficiency in MicroStation, Bentley/OpenRoads, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in highway design and the ability to define scope and prepare engineering estimates.
  • Ability to provide quality control oversight for highway engineering tasks.
  • A passion for mentoring and developing junior engineers.
  • Interest in participating in client service teams, proposal development, and business development activities.

If you want to lead impactful projects, mentor the next generation of engineers, and help shape the future of transportation in Illinois, STV is the place to do it.
