Overview

Branch Manager/Branch Experience Manager – Unity Bank

Location: 1180 West 4th St, Rush City, MN 55069

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Provide direction, resources, and direct assistance to retail banking teams, promoting a customer‑focused culture with high service standards and a positive workplace atmosphere. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Track and manage performance indicators such as sales goals, quality of service, and operational effectiveness.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with Learning and Development to design and implement training programs for customer support teams and branch staff, enhancing product knowledge, deposit controls, compliance requirements, communication skills, and problem‑solving abilities. Coordinate with branch personnel to schedule training; provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship. Lead regular team meetings to communicate objectives, celebrate achievements, and address challenges.
  • Customer Experience: Oversee and enhance support resources to deliver timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries and issues. Demonstrate exemplary service, assist staff with complex or escalated concerns, and foster a customer‑centric environment. Respond to feedback, resolve issues, and implement improvements. Advise customers on bank products and services and assist with teller line coverage when needed.
  • Community Involvement: Build and maintain community relationships, participate in community events, and promote financial literacy through sponsorships and partnerships. Encourage staff participation in community activities.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and branch security. Complete audits, reviews, and reports promptly. Monitor quality control metrics and adhere to all regulatory, privacy, industry, and internal policies.
  • Facilities Management: Understand and facilitate procurement of branch supplies and resources. Obtain quotes for services, repairs, and maintenance. Coordinate with facilities on the maintenance and safety of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent working experience preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years banking experience required
  • Previous people leadership/management experience preferred
