Ramp Agent Job Summary:The Ramp Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely handling of aircraft operations on the ramp area of an airport. Working as part of a ground handling team, the Ramp Agent is responsible for various tasks related to the movement, loading, unloading, and servicing of aircraft, as well as the coordination of ground equipment and procedures.This process is currently scheduled for an evening to early morning operation. This job is a 5 day per week job. The operation is conducted 7-days per week. You must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week and work on the weekend may be required.Pay Range: $19/ hourly + $2/hour Loyalty bonus + Shift Commitment Incentive Pay = up to $29/hrLoyalty Bonus Program- For each hour worked, a loyalty incentive of $2 per hour will be put into an account for each employee. Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.Maintain effective communication with other ramp agents, ground crew, and flight crews to ensure smooth aircraft movement and coordination.Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the ramp area, ensuring it is free from debris, foreign object damage, and other hazards.Assist warehouse operations after ramp is complete.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, and stand for extended periods.Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and demanding environment.Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures and protocols.Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with other ground personnel and flight crews.Flexibility to work in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and adverse weather situations.Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as airport operations are 24/7.Must be able to pass a background check and drug and alcohol testing.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Physical Requirements:The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds.
