Nurses on this unit provide compassionate, specialized care while monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, delivering chemotherapy and other treatments, and supporting patients through complex care needs. Care provided on this unit includes chemotherapy, hospice, radiation, stem cell transplant/CAR-T, radioactive iodine, and symptom management.* Work within **one of the** country’s **largest cancer networks**, **accredited as an Integrated Network Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.*** Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including board-certified and fellowship-trained cancer experts, to support individualized patient care.* Provide care in an environment that prioritizes advanced, evidence-based **technology and treatments**, including **innovative radiation therapies**, **robotic surgery**, **and HIPEC**.**Education Requirements*** **Bachelor of Science** in **Nursing** (**BSN**) Required **or** Master of Science in Nursing (**MSN**) preferred**Certification/Licensure Requirements*** Registered Nurse license required* Basic Life Support (**BLS**) **required within 90 days of hire*** **Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)/Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) or Sentara**-**approved Chemotherapy** and **Biotherapy Provider Card** required **within 6 months of hire****Experience Requirements*** **18 months** RN **experience required*****\*Join us for our Oncology open house for nurses on Wednesday, August 19th from 9a-11a!
