Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing

Part-Time Flexibility
This position is a 0.5 FTE equivalent, requiring just four 10-hour shifts every two weeks, making it ideal for providers seeking work-life balance while staying clinically engaged.
Grow Your Expertise
You'll receive training across all aspects of newborn nursery care, including inpatient coverage and home call responsibilities.
What You'll Do
As a valued member of our Nursery Team, you'll:
- Perform newborn assessments and daily rounds.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage newborn patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing.
- Partner with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to provide exceptional care.
- Educate and support new parents during a life-changing experience.
- Perform procedures including newborn circumcisions.
- Help families confidently transition from hospital to home.

Qualifications
Nurse Practitioners
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- RN experience required.
- Completion of an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active Maryland NP license.
Physician Assistants
- Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
- NCCPA certification required.
- Active Maryland PA license.
Preferred Experience
- One year of nursery, newborn, pediatric, or related clinical experience.
Certifications
- BLS certification required.
- NRP certification preferred.
- Eligible for credentialing through the University of Maryland Capital Region Health Medical Staff Office.
