Fountain View Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our leadership team on the night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). This is a hands-on leadership role that requires the RN Supervisor to work a medication cart while overseeing clinical operations, resident care, and nursing staff during the overnight shift.

RN Supervisor Responsibilities

As the Night Shift RN Supervisor, you will provide direct resident care while overseeing nursing operations throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support nursing staff during the overnight shift

  • Work a medication cart and provide direct patient care

  • Perform nursing assessments and clinical evaluations

  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders

  • Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system

  • Support admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed

  • Provide guidance and supervision to STNAs/CNAs and nursing staff

  • Respond to clinical emergencies and resident concerns

  • Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations

  • Promote a safe, positive, and resident-centered environment

  • Participate in quality assurance and infection control initiatives

Qualifications
  • Current, active, and unencumbered Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) License

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • Current CPR Certification

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Rehabilitation Center, Nursing Home, Long-Term Care, or Post-Acute Care setting

  • Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred

  • Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to multitask and make sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced healthcare environment

  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations and nursing standards
