Job description

Fabian Oil is currently seeking multiple part time General Laborers to join our energy team at various branches across Maine. At Fabian, General Laborers are responsible for assisting service technicians, delivery drivers, and office staff with whatever tasks are deemed necessary. This position is a great opportunity for those looking to gain experience in multiple different career paths within the fuel industry.

A General Laborer can expect to do all the following duties:

  • Assist service technicians with tank sets, installations, and repairs.
  • Assist fuel delivery drivers as needed.
  • General facility maintenance including snow removal, lawn mowing, landscaping etc.
  • Office / Garage cleaning & organization.
  • Other various physical tasks as directed by supervisor.

The ideal candidate for the General Laborer position will be someone who likes to work with their hands and do something different every day. They will have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and be able to effectively manage their time. A successful candidate will have the ability to adapt to change, work as part of a team and perform work responsibilities independently.
