Position Overview

We are seeking a skilledSeniorSalesforce Developerwho is responsible fordesigning, implementing, and managing Salesforce solutions, integrating third-party applications, and providing technical leadership tootherdevelopers.The ideal candidate will have strong technicalexpertisein Salesforce development, a deep understanding of CRM processes, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.This position reports to theManager ofSoftware Development.


Position Type & Expected Hoursof Work

This is a full-time, exempt employment opportunitywithbenefits and will be paid on a salary basis. This is not a consulting or contract role. While the position supports in-person or remote work, regular dedicated hours are required, and the role involves frequent collaboration with others in on-camera meetings.

GeneralResponsibilities

  • Design and develop custom applications, integrations, and workflows on the Salesforce platform, with a focus on Education Cloud features.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers,code review,ensuring adherence to best practices in coding and system architecture.
  • Customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, and record types to meet business requirements.
  • DevelopApexclasses, triggers,Visualforcepages, andLightning Web Components(LWC)andOmnistudiocomponents.
  • Implement andmaintainAPIintegrations between Salesforce and external systems.
  • Writeandmaintainunit testsand troubleshoot issues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases and best practices tooptimizeandmaintainsystem performance.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving application issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • Provisioning sandboxes,source control (GitHub),managingCI/CD pipelines and deployments.


Requirements

  • ProficiencyinApex,Visualforce,Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Strong understanding ofSalesforce architecture,data model, andsecurity model.
  • Experience withSalesforce APIs(REST/SOAP)
  • Knowledge ofSOQLandSOSLqueries.
  • Familiarity withFlows, triggers, and automations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in Agile environments and manage multiple priorities.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer ICertification
  • Experience withExperience Cloud
  • Strong communicationand collaboration abilitiesto work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability tomanage complex security modelsandoversee data integritywithin the Salesforce environment.

  • Experience with:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor'sdegree incomputer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development and customization.


Work Environment & Physical Demands

The duties of this job aremainly performedin a regular office environment with occasional small trips outdoors. While performing the duties of this job, the employeeis regularly required tosit, stand, and walk throughout the building. The employee isfrequentlyrequired to reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception,and ability to adjust focus.
