Job description

Dock Worker

Dock Workers are responsible for loading and unloading trailers for the purpose of transporting a wide variety of cargo, moving cargo, driving a forklift, or using a pallet jack or other freight for transit. Effectively and efficiently operating mobile technology and completing all required paperwork. Actual duties and schedule may vary depending on terminal location.

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trailers.
  • Operate forklift, pallet jack or other material handling equipment.
  • Operate mobile technology.
  • Complete all required paperwork.
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Requirements

Education:

  • High School Diploma / GED, required

Additional Requirements:

  • Be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and meet medical requirements.
  • Shift days and hours required for this position vary by location and may include days, nights, and/or weekends. Being able to work the required hours at this location will be considered a minimum requirement. Must have a year of forklift experience.

  • Make more money! Wages are Teamster Union Scale which are greater than most other carriers! Hourly employees also receive overtime pay after 8 hours/day.
