Description
As a leader in the industry, Insituform Technologies USA, LLC, an Azuria Water Solutions company, is a global company that has been providing pipeline protection services for more than 50 years. Insituform values employee development and empowerment and are looking for innovative individuals to join their team and contribute to maintaining critical infrastructure worldwide.
We are currently hiring Construction Laborers with a valid Class A or B CDL license to join our team in Decatur, IL. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) for various municipal, industrial, storm, and sewer line rehab and repair projects. This position requires working with minimal oversite while still adhering to instructions closely.
Starting pay is $39.33-$39.52 per hour depending on local union rates.

What You'll Do:
  • Repair various types of sewer lines by using a specific product and process
  • Ensure pull-in tube is properly prepared for installation by examining D-Rings, chains, and attachment to pulling cable
  • Install prepared tube using a winch, backhoe, crane, or other appropriate material
  • Monitor gauges, dials or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
  • Cure resin products using an inflation tube, banding boots, layflat, boiler hose, etc.
  • Learn / train on Insituform's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment
  • Drive various vehicles (pickup trucks to tractor-trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment
  • Perform set up and clean up tasks at job site / shop
  • CCTV inspection of sewer and storm drain repairs for clients.
  • Operating UV Lining Equipment as required.
  • Responsible for operating a Jetter/Vactor (Combo Truck) as required.
  • Responsible for completing and submitting all inspection paperwork at the end of the day or week.
  • Responsible for supporting other trenchless rehabilitation activities as required.

What We Need From You:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Class A or B CDL REQUIRED, Hazmat or other endorsements preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience working in an outdoor construction environment, preferably with CIPP or water or sewer utilities.
  • PACP certification is preferred
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work overtime, nights and weekends based on business needs.
  • Ability to travel overnight, locally and regionally (across state lines), as work assignments dictate. Monday through Friday throughout the Midwest.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
