Job description

Consumers Credit Union (CCU) is looking for a Data Analyst to join the Enterprise Data Solutions team! This is a great opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst who wants to work for a fast-growing, certified Great Place to Work financial institution!
As a Data Analyst, you will process, and analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision making. Also, you will interpret complex data and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
CCU is a dynamic company that implements process improvements and changes frequently so the ideal candidate will be adaptable to change and will be able to steadily perform and react in a fast-paced work environment.
Schedule/Location:
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule where 2-3 days of your work will be onsite at our Lake Forest corporate office and the rest will be spent working remotely.
  • Local Northern IL / Southeast WI candidates only!

Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Interpret and present data findings to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, product performance, and strategic goals to provide valuable insights, and analytical support. Stay informed about industry shifts and analyze their impact on existing organizational strategies.
  • Design, develop custom dashboards, and reports to track key metrics. Ensure timely delivery of insights to stakeholders.
  • Build and manage metrics, documents, templates, reports, and dashboards to understand daily operations and drive key business decisions.
  • Perform data analysis accurately and timely using statistical techniques to identify trends and correlations for business units.
  • Ensure all data is compliant maintaining data integrity and accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business or related - Minimum
  • 4+ years' experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related (in a preferred financial institution)
  • Experience with data visualization tools, programming languages, SQL, and Microsoft applications desired.
  • High problem-solving abilities, self-starter, and willingness to learn.
  • Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with cross-functional colleagues and vendors.
  • Time management and organizational skills - must have the ability and drive to meet deadlines
  • Availability to work 40+ hours/week and be scheduled between the following hours: Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $67,980 - $108,768 per year. This role is eligible for an annual bonus opportunity. A specific salary offer considers factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

You will be eligible to participate in the 401(k) savings plan at any time.
