REVAU is experiencing strong organic growth, reaffirming our commitment to revolutionizing the commercial insurance industry. We believe there is a more efficient way to access commercial insurance by eliminating inefficiencies, valuing expertise, and enabling brokers to grow their portfolios.


If you would like to actively contribute to transforming the commercial insurance sector within a fast-growing company, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented person to join our team as an Underwriting Assistant. This role focuses on providing administrative and operational support to underwriters.


In this position, you will report to the Team Lead - Operations Support, and you will develop a solid foundation in underwriting practices while contributing to the team's efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare standard insurance documents using templates and underwriters' guidelines
  • Enter and update data in Guidewire or other systems
  • Organize and maintain digital underwriting files
  • Respond to routine broker requests and escalate more complex cases
  • Help gather underwriting information for submissions
  • Support compliance efforts by ensuring documentation accuracy

Profile

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the insurance industry
  • Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively
  • Adaptability and proactivity
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility
