Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am). Trouble shoot, repair, replace and maintain piping underground and above ground, sinks and mixers, toilets and urinals, pipe and drain plugs and related plumbing, repair and maintain evaporative coolers and exhaust fans Trouble shoot, fabricate, repair and replace doors, door frames, hinges, handles and closures Prepare and paint metal, wood and street surfaces as needed Repair, replace and maintain epoxy hard flooring, asphalt and concrete surfaces as needed Perform general fabrication functions (cut, shear, bend, weld) in the maintenance, repair or building of shelves, covers and related items Maintain, repair and replace paper towels and soap dispensers General cleaning and/or assisting other areas as needed and maintain safety, housekeeping and follow proper sanitary procedures Qualifications: Must have a minimum of five (5) years of building and facilities maintenance experience Must have good written and verbal English communications skills Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision; must be able to lead small crew of pool maintenance people on weekends Must be able to interact positively with Plant Production and Maintenance personnel to resolve maintenance issues Must be able and willing to work rotating Tuesday - Saturday/ Sunday-Thursday work weeks Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Must be trained in lock-out tag-out and safe work practices Must be able to bend, stoop walk and stand for prolonged periods of time Must be able to climb and work from ladders and in confined spaces safely Must be able to work from high altitudes, catwalks and roofs Must be able to lift over 50 pounds Must be able to work on wet concrete floors Must be able to work overtime, weekends and times dictated by production equipment requirements/needs Must be able to pass a test at the appropriate skill level for this position Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check Must be able to lead groups of pool employees Foster Farms ACTION Guiding Principles Accountability: Deliver on commitments.
