Job description

SCOPE OF WORK:
Work will consist of installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of underground electrical systems, and associated materials and equipment within the electrical construction industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Complete the underground installation efficiently and correctly.
  • Directly responsible for leading and working along with a crew which typically consists of a helper(s) and an apprentice.
  • Scheduling the crew with the U.G. Foreman, site Foreman, Project Managers, G.S. and Superintendents.
  • Layout the work and make certain the materials/tools/equipment, and information are on the jobsite in the proper places, ahead of time.
  • Maintain a log of maintenance for all equipment used by crew.
  • Perform all basic maintenance i.e. greasing, pin and tooth replacements, oil changes etc

DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Provide birth certificate and current driver's license
  • High School diploma or GED; high school transcript
  • Evidence of previous experience in electrical field (if any)
  • Letter of recommendation from previous or present employer
  • DD214 (if veteran)
  • Pass drug test
  • Current Driver's License and have own transportation, (most job sites are not always served by public transports)
