Construction Laborer – Civils

Job Description

Job Summary

The Construction Laborers at CellSite Solutions perform general construction and maintenance work related to telecommunications. Under the direction of a crew lead, the main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to forming & placing concrete footings and pads, digging holes and trenches, site restoration, installing underground conduit and wiring, building and repairing fencing, performing basic electrical and mechanical work, and other field construction activities. This position is the face of our company and delivers high-quality results to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

· Travel is required, typically no more than 2-3 weeks at a time

· Must have a “SAFETY ALWAYS” mentality

· Ability to work overtime weekly

· Must meet company insurability requirements to operate motor vehicles

· Operate hand and power tools

· Operate construction equipment such as mini-excavators and skid steers

· Read and interpret construction drawings or written scope of work

· Must be able to navigate Microsoft software such as SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.

· Displays pride in workmanship and quality

· Problems solving

· Must be a team player with good communication skills and display professionalism 

· Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change. 

· Must be able to lift and carry at least 75 pounds at a time. 

· Must be able to work in all weather conditions. 

· Must be able to function a tablet and smartphone to access prints, emails, and photos

Education and Experience:

· Prior job experience preferred.

· Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required

This position is hourly and eligible for overtime. Pay is based on skills and experience, with room for advancement. This is a traveling position that is done in a company vehicle. The company also pays for travel time and per diem.
