Job description

Position Overview
At Apollo, we're a global team of alternative investment managers passionate about delivering uncommon value to our investors and shareholders. The Transformation Management team works across Apollo focusing on strategic advisory, project management, and process improvement across the organization. We partner cross-functionally to enable the firm to successfully execute key strategic initiatives, to problem solve for complex objectives, and to provide expertise and resourcing for program/project management and process assessment/improvement. This individual will be responsible for identifying and executing strategic and operational initiatives across the firm and will champion process improvement practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement and performance measurement.
This role sits at the intersection of:
  • Corporate strategy (growth, capital efficiency, operating model design)
  • Digital product build (data platforms, forecasting tools, automation, AI-enabled workflows)
  • Execution leadership (owning multi-quarter transformation programs end-to-end)

This role will design the strategy, execute product delivery, and drive adoption - operating as a hands-on transformation lead across Apollo's Insurance Solutions Group (ISG), Treasury, Finance, Engineering, and Risk.
Primary Responsibilities
Enterprise Strategy & Capital Enablement
  • Translate ISG growth objectives into capability roadmaps (forecasting, liquidity, SRE stabilization, capital efficiency).
  • Frame and evaluate strategic trade-offs across forecasting, monthly close process, data governance, operating model design
  • Develop business cases for modernization investments (automation, AI, data infrastructure).
  • Drive executive alignment on prioritization, sequencing, and resource allocation.

Digital Product & Platform Enablement
  • Drive end-to-end program management for ISG tools and platforms.
  • Define MVPs and scale-up roadmaps.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data teams to Translate business logic into technical architecture
  • Drive adoption across Finance, Risk, and Investment teams.

Operating Model & Process Redesign
  • Redesign end-to-end processes (e.g., asset close, SRE production, forecasting cadence).
  • Define clear ownership models and governance structures.
  • Replace manual reconciliation workflows with AI-enabled systemized, controlled processes.
  • Align global shared services, ISG, and affiliated insurance entities.

Executive Decision Support
  • Develop executive-ready materials
  • Present directly to leadership and committes
  • Challenge assumptions and provide clear, actionable recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 7-10 years of experience, preferably in corporate strategy with some mix of digital product and platform transformation, financial services or insurance transformation experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, MBA (optional)
  • Critical thinker with strong quantitative, qualitative, and analytical skills who expresses their thoughts and ideas clearly both in oral and written communications
  • Experience with owning projects and managing diverse stakeholders, often with competing priorities
  • Superior executive-level presentation skills - able to distill complicated, multi-faceted issues into the key items to bring to leadership's attention
  • Collaborative thinker who can also work independently, multitask, and prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and complex environment
  • Proactive and organized self-starter with a positive attitude, powerful work ethic, and strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Financial Services / Asset Management experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills, including the ability to resolve internal differences and maintain confidentiality across a broad range of topics
  • Nimble and flexible, with the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and pivot focus as needed while keeping key stakeholders engaged and informed
  • The ability to take on a task and see it through to conclusion
  • Strong drive, initiative, and demonstrated entrepreneurial skillsets
  • Collaborative and able to effectively liaise and partner with junior and senior-level professionals

Pay Range
$200,000 - $250,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance.
