The Job

Want to build products that help scientists develop the next generation of medicines? As a Consumables Production Technician, you'll manufacture the precision plates, micro-cuvettes, spotted microarrays and microfluidic devices that power Unchained Labs' instruments in research labs around the world. Every product you build helps researchers generate the data behind tomorrow's life-changing therapies.

You'll combine skilled hand assembly and advanced manufacturing equipment to build products like Uni, Unfilter, Luni, and Aunty plates. One day you might be carefully assembling tiny precision components, the next operating automated equipment, inspecting products under magnification, or helping improve a manufacturing process. Responsibilities

  • Build precision consumable products using delicate plastic, glass, silicon, and metal components.
  • Operate advanced manufacturing equipment including chemical etch systems, wafer dicing equipment, glutting robots, UV curing systems, and inspection tools.
  • Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure exceptional quality.
  • Record manufacturing and quality data with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain cleanroom and manufacturing work areas.
  • Support troubleshooting and efforts to continuously improve quality and efficiency.
  • Package finished products for customers around the world.
  • Work closely with teammates to safely deliver products on schedule.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college or vocational training preferred.
  • Experience in semiconductor processing, medical device manufacturing, optics manufacturing, or other precision manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to safely handle fragile glass, silicon wafers, and other precision components.
  • Familiarity with laboratory or manufacturing chemical safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and consistently follow detailed procedures.
  • Dependable, adaptable, and motivated to contribute to a fast-paced team environment.

Compensation

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $25-30/hour. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual base salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices. This role is also eligible for our bonus program, and comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs.
