Unarmed Security Guard - Baltimore, MD

KR is accepting applications for experienced Unarmed Security Guards to provide security detail in Baltimore, MD.

Duties/Responsibility

Unarmed Security Guards shall perform all tasks in accordance with the duties outlined within the Post Orders and the Performance Work Statement. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain order and security, and remain professional, courteous, and respectful
  • Arrive on time, completely outfitted, and ready for duty
  • Adhere to customer policy and maintain confidential data
  • Assist in inspection of interior and exterior of building
  • Complete building inspection report
  • Assist customer at entrance scanner
  • Patrol halls throughout buildings
  • Monitor for suspicious items or activities
  • Respond to calls for assistance, as needed
  • Provide breaks/relief to security staff
  • Monitor parking lot and employee entrance/exit.
  • Complete daily logbook entry
  • Ensure the safekeeping of all keys, access cards, fobs, and codes.

Qualifications

  • Twenty-one (21) years of age
  • High school graduate or equivalent certificate
  • One (1) year of experience in security/law enforcement work.
  • Must possess Maryland Unarmed Guard Card
  • Complete a background check with no clear criminal record, and not on any type of probation, no convictions or charges for any form of domestic violence
  • Ability to speak, read, and write the English language clearly and concisely
  • Read, understand, and apply printed rules and directions
  • Stand and/or walk for an entire shift, run and climb stairs
  • Lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds
