Description

SIS is currently looking for a motivated team player with relevant experience to fill a position as the Lead Ultrasound Probe Repair Technician. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and refurbish ultrasound transducers according to original manufacturer and company specifications. The Lead Technician must perform semi-autonomously, assessing instrumentation, evaluating problems, executing repairs, and ensuring the highest quality customer experience. The Lead Technician will be the cornerstone piece to lead a small team of repair techs. Compensation commensurate with experience.ย 

Requirements


Essential Job Functions:
ย 

  • Troubleshoot ultrasound probes that do not meet voltage standardsย 
  • Use multimeters and oscilloscopes to identify and repair shorts and opens ย 
  • Micro-solder probe arrays onto boardsย 
  • Perform final function and performance testing on repaired probesย 
  • Using SIS order entry system, input required data needed to generate accurate repair quotes for customersย 
  • Accurately complete all evaluation, estimate, and quality control paperwork in a timely mannerย 
  • Regularly communicate anticipated repair completion datesย 
  • Monitor part inventory and order parts from suppliers when neededย 
  • Train and direct addition technicians as they are added to the teamย

  • Acute attention to detail and aptitude for analyzing and solving problemsย 
  • Comfortable working with small components and precision tools for focused technical workย 
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanorย 
  • Basic computer skillsย 
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand Englishย 
  • Capable of occasionally lifting items up to 25 poundsย
