Position Summary

As an Ultrasound Technician, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures that help physicians accurately diagnose and treat patients.

Responsibilities
  • Performing high-quality ultrasound examinations using sonographic equipment
  • Identifying and documenting areas of concern for physician review
  • Preparing exam rooms and patients for procedures
  • Assisting Radiologists with vascular ultrasound exams and ultrasound-guided biopsies
  • Recognizing and reporting any urgent or abnormal findings
  • Maintaining ultrasound equipment and reporting equipment issues as needed
  • Completing accurate documentation and exam reports
  • Managing multiple patients and priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure outstanding patient care

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
  • ARDMS certification required
  • Current CPR certification required

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
