Ultrasound Tech Opportunity

This Ultrasound Tech opportunity is per diem and offers a convenient flexible schedule. This dynamic individual will perform a variety of imaging procedures in Surgery, Emergency Department, Pain Center and the Imaging Department and is responsible for patient safety protocols. This individual functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Uses Trophon equipment according to manufacturers recommendations and documents the process according to policy
- Evaluating images for technical quality getting all necessary images to ensure the radiologist gets the information needed ensuring proper identification is recorded
- Clinical notes are complete and concise to help the radiologist

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but not required
- One year of imaging experience
- Prefer specific experience and training in Ultrasound
- Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
- Current BLS certification
- Required to take call /standby in Ultrasound department and for NNMC as needed
