Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets for Specialty Ultra-Trace and PFAS testing services across North America.
  • Build and manage a strong sales funnel, with a focus on large, strategic opportunities.
  • Identify and develop new markets, applications, and client segments for emerging contaminants testing.

Client Engagement & Strategic Influence
  • Build deep relationships with decision makers, chemists, project managers, and executive leaders within target organizations.
  • Provide technical presentations and consultative guidance to help clients understand testing options, project design, and analytical considerations.
  • Map client organizational structures to support "top-down" influence and strategic penetration.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with regional sales teams to position SGS's specialty capabilities and support One SGS cross-selling initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product development and laboratory leadership to communicate client needs and identify new service opportunities.
  • Work with marketing to develop technical collateral, proposals, and client communication strategies.

Innovation & Market Intelligence

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline required (Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an environmental or physical sciences laboratory.
  • Hands-on experience in specialty ultra-trace, PFAS, dioxin, or PCB testing strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years in business development, client services, or technical sales within an environmental testing context.
  • Experience selling or supporting LC-MS/MS, HRMS, or PFAS analytical services strongly desired.

Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 - $120,000 annually. This position is eligible for the EHS North America commission plan as well. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
