Description

The Digital Content Manager is a leader within the Digital Content and Experience Strategy team, responsible for defining and overseeing multi-channel content strategies supporting Citizens Private Bank, Citizens Private Wealth, Wealth Management, and Commercial businesses serving high net worth (HNW), ultra-high net worth (UHNW) and C-Suite audiences. 

This role ensures a consistent, differentiated, and credible voice across channels, one that strengthens brand authority, drives engagement, and supports business growth. Reporting to the Vice President, Head of Enterprise Content Strategy, this person will oversee the team developing impact strategies and assets that translate complex financial insights into compelling, audience centric thought leadership. 

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across content strategy, social media, podcasting, webinars, video, and digital marketing to deliver distinctive and relevant content experiences that drive action. Success will be measured through a balanced set of KPIs. 

Partnership is critical to this role. Working closely with peers and teams across the organization, including business, marketing and communications leads to align goals, ensure cohesion, and drive integrated execution. The successful candidate is a strategic, self-motivated leader with experience in HNW/UHNW content, social, and digital marketing who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. 

Responsibilities 

  • Define and present strategic content visions to senior stakeholders across the Private Bank, Wealth, and Commercial businesses, aligning messaging to business objectives and audience insights. 

  • Own and oversee the overarching content strategy for HNW/UHNW audiences, balancing multiple business priorities and relationships simultaneously. 

  • Identify and activate net-new content opportunities informed by market dynamics, news cycles and emerging industry trends.  

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of content strategists and writers, fostering a culture of insight driven, audience first storytelling. 

  • Guide the team in leveraging research, data, and performance insights to inform content recommendations, with consideration for market trends, customer needs, business outcomes, and available resources. 

  • Partner with SEO & Discoverability partners to continually elevate content discovery across search engines, including LLMs to build an authoritative voice.  

  • Lead regular performance reporting for business partners and the broader team to assess impact and optimize plans. 

  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies to execute approved strategies on time and within budget. 

  • Support budget planning, commitment, and billing processes related to content and social execution. 

  • Build strong cross functional relationships, operate independently, and manage project execution, deliverables, and additional responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President, Head of Enterprise Content. 

Qualifications 

  • Proven experience leading and managing multiple content marketing initiatives simultaneously. 

  • Strong ability to prioritize and adapt deliverables in response to evolving market conditions and business needs. 

  • Demonstrated analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics to inform strategic marketing decisions. 

  • Deep curiosity and understanding of content strategy, marketing campaigns, and digital channel opportunities. 

  • Adaptable mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and innovation. 

  • Experience with high net worth, ultra-high net worth, financial services, or luxury oriented marketing preferred. 

  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in content strategy, social media, or digital marketing. 

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: M-F 8-5  In Boston MA ,New York, NY or Pittsburgh, PA office 4 days.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
