ROLE SUMMARY:
As a Groundskeeper, you'll help maintain the appearance, safety, and operational readiness of our brewery grounds. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for maintaining landscaped areas, irrigation systems, and outdoor equipment while supporting seasonal activities such as snow removal and general site upkeep. You'll play an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming encironment for employees, visitors, and the surrounding community through a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform all irrigation operations which includes starting and stopping the irrigation pumps, making irrigation pipeline repairs and adjusting/replacing heads.

  • Safely and efficiently operate various types of landscape equipment (weed whacker, ride on mowers, leaf blowers, UTV's, skid steer, etc.)

  • Mix and apply pesticides to grounds to control weeds/grasses.

  • Perform all snow removal activities that include hand shoveling and operating powered equipment.

  • Clean up trash all around the brewery including warehouse truck parking lot.

  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on all equipment.

  • Clean equipment, buildings and grounds.

  • Effectively and thoroughly communicate with all team members.

  • Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures, safety, and sanitation practices are followed.

  • Conduct monthly inspections and control checks.

  • Champion safety and the use of technology to execute daily operations more efficiently.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Valid driver's license required.

  • Able to work in varying temperatures and climates.

  • Able to continuously stand, bend and twist.

  • Able to lift, pull, push and turn items up to 50 pounds required.

  • Able to work overtime and weekends when necessary.

  • Experience with computer applications and mobile applications preferred.

  • Experience with mobile equipment preferred.

  • Ability to obtain pesticide applicator license.

  • Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver License (CDL).

  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
