We're looking for a Change Management & Communications Lead to navigate the organization's transformation to AI-native design and research. In addition to building the messaging infrastructure for priority programs, you'll get the chance to shape how designers and researchers understand and adopt AI-augmented ways of working, from defining what the change actually means all the way through tracking whether it actually landed. You'll design the readiness framework, write audience specific communications that help people understand the change in practice, and co-own the behavior change with program management and senior leadership. This is the first role of its kind in the org. You'll build the change communications practice, including creating AI-led practices that scale.
Success looks like program leads and exec sponsors using your impact assessments to make better decisions before launch and the org showing measurable movement in adoption and readiness over each 90-day cycle.

- Build and run a segmented readiness programs, leveling the org into readiness cohorts, designing differentiated messaging per cohort, and tracking migration from awareness to active adoption over time.
- Write the audience-based communications that help individual contributors and managers understand the direct impact to their day to day practice addressing all dimensions of a change (people, process, tech)
- Co-own the end-to-end reinforcement system for each program.
- 7+ years of experience in change management, organizational communications, or internal communications in a matrixed technology organization, with demonstrated accountability for program adoption outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience developing audience-segmented communication plans with evidence of producing distinct messaging for different audience groups (e.g., individual contributors, managers, senior leaders) within the same program.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior or executive stakeholders to assess and define the scope of organizational change including producing written artifacts (impact assessments, alignment briefs, stakeholder maps) used to inform program decisions.
- Demonstrated experience defining and tracking adoption or behavior change metrics including establishing baselines, measuring progress against them, and using data to adjust communications strategy.
- Applied experience with a recognized change management framework (Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, McKinsey Influence Model, or equivalent) in a professional setting.
- Experience supporting AI adoption, digital transformation, or technology workforce transitions, familiarity with the specific dynamics of tool-driven role change and the communications strategies that support it.
- Experience establishing a change communications practice, program, or function in an organization where one did not previously exist.
- Experience working in or alongside a design, UX research, or product organization, familiarity with design and research roles and workflows is a plus for this audience.
- A portfolio of written communications work, program playbooks, manager briefings, change narratives, or stakeholder impact assessments that demonstrate range and quality of written output.
