Job Description

This role focuses on providing avionics maintenance and troubleshooting support for a fleet of UH-60 helicopters based at Fort Moore. You will inspect, repair, and maintain complex aircraft systems to ensure safe, reliable, and mission-ready operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform avionics maintenance, inspection, and repair on UH-60 helicopters and related H-60 platforms, including MH-60 and Blackhawk variants.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot avionics and airframe issues using technical manuals, schematics, and test equipment.
  • Inspect, test, and verify proper operation of aircraft electrical and electronic systems after maintenance actions.
  • Document all maintenance actions accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations and organizational procedures.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft readiness and timely completion of work.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintenance standards while working in a hangar and flight line environment.
  • Use your 15T (15 Tango) experience to perform specialized maintenance tasks on UH-60 aircraft.
  • Assist with general airframe maintenance tasks in support of avionics work, as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the hangar environment.

Essential Skills

  • Experience as an Avionics Technician working on UH-60 or related H-60 series helicopters.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance in all maintenance activities.
