Your Work Matters

The Manager, Organic Social Content and Engagement, is the brand's community builder and storyteller - responsible for growing Floor & Decor's presence across platforms by creating memorable and engaging content that inspires homeowners and earns the trust of design professionals, contractors, and installers. You will strengthen awareness and perception of Floor & Decor's unique value: the widest in-stock selection, expert guidance, and the ability to make the remarkable feel attainable. This role reports to the head of Content Strategy and collaborates closely with Creative, Content, PR, Lifecycle, Brand Marketing, Pro Marketing, Digital Experience, Customer Care, and Paid Media.

You'll Be Successful With

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Digital Media; equivalent professional experience considered.

  • 5-7 years of organic social media management experience; at least 3 years owning channel strategy and KPIs in a brand-side role.

  • Demonstrated experience with both B2C and B2B social audiences; experience reaching trade, contractor, or design professional audiences strongly preferred.

  • Hands-on platform experience across Meta Business Suite, Pinterest for Business, TikTok for Business, Reddit, and YouTube Studio.

  • Proactive creator mindset with strong visual, voice, and tone sensibility; comfortable concepting and directing social-first video content, particularly short-form vertical video. Light shooting and editing skills preferred.

  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt brand voice and across audiences and native to platforms - from aspirational, yet attainable homeowner content to credible, technical Pro-facing education.

  • Proven ability to set and own KPIs, translate data into strategy, and communicate social impact in business terms to senior stakeholders.

  • Experience consulting Customer Care or community teams on response strategy, escalation frameworks, and tone guidelines.

  • Fluency advising on influencer, affiliate, and UGC programs, including rights management and creator network development.

  • Proficiency with social listening tools, CMS, and analytics platforms.

  • AI fluency: comfortable using AI tools for ideation, research, and workflow efficiency while maintaining authentic brand voice and editorial judgment.

  • Experience in home improvement, home decor, construction, or building materials industries is highly preferred.

Your Day Consists Of

Strategy & Channel Ownership

  • Own the organic social strategy across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube and more - with distinct content pillars and growth roadmaps for both B2C (homeowners, BIYers, design enthusiasts) and B2B (contractors, tile installers, flooring pros, interior designers) audiences.

  • Define and manage channel KPIs and deliver regular performance reports to senior leadership with clear insights and optimization recommendations aligned with the goals of the business. Use the insights to evolve strategy and data to prove the value of organic social in the broader marketing mix.

  • Build and maintain a social content calendar aligned to the marketing calendar, balancing consistent publishing cadence with real-time agility for trends and brand moments.

Content Creation & Brand Perception

  • Champion content that showcases what's possible at Floor & Decor and demonstrates unmatched value across every price point.

  • Bring a hands-on creator approach to development - concepting, scripting, directing, and sometimes capturing content - with a strong eye for design aesthetics, authentic and relevant platform-native storytelling.

  • Leverage social SEO, trending audio, and platform-specific formats to maximize organic discoverability and shareability; apply a growth mindset through consistent creative testing and data-driven iteration.

  • Partner with Creative and Content to brief and optimize platform assets; work with Paid Media to amplify top-performing organic content; coordinate with PR on earned media and brand moments.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Community Management

  • Full-funnel synergy - Work closely with Paid Media, Lifecycle, and digital experience teams to ensure organic content seeds and reinforces consideration, creating a seamless journey from digital discovery to the store visit.

  • Advise on influencer and affiliate program strategy - creator selection, content briefs, and performance benchmarks; develop and execute a UGC strategy that amplifies authentic content from both homeowners and Pro customers.

  • Benchmark against competitive brands in home improvement, specialty tile and flooring, and home furnishings to identify white space and import best practices.

  • Own proactive community engagement across all platforms - actively monitoring and responding to comments, DMs, mentions, and tags to build genuine relationships with homeowners and trade professionals who look to Floor & Decor for inspiration and expertise.

  • Consult Customer Care on community management strategy and best practices, escalation protocols, response frameworks, and social listening workflows; share sentiment trends and community insights to and from the stores, PR, Customer Care, and other cross-functional teams on a regular cadence.
