Job description

UFP Site Built is the leader in designing and manufacturing value-added wood and non-wood products for the construction industry. We offer a wide variety of wood structural components, aluminum decks and rails, and light gauge steel structural components.

We're currently hiring for an Account Manager in the Atlanta, GA market that would be responsible for the sale of roof/floor trusses, stair kits and, engineered wood products for residential, Single-family, Multi-family, and Commercial Builders by developing and maintaining customer contacts.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Services and maintains positive relationships with current customer base

  • Identify customer needs and solve problems

  • Understand and perform cost savings analysis for customers

  • Generates new sales by promoting product line to new and existing customers

  • Troubleshoots problems for customer

  • Qualify customersโ€™ creditworthiness

  • Monitors sales market in assigned region

  • Prepares various reports as required

  • Accounts receivable management

  • Month-end inventory participation

  • Performs other duties as required

โ€‹Qualifications

  • Preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related area

  • Preferred minimum of five years' experience selling roof/floor trusses, stair kits and engineered wood products

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications

  • Preferred manufacturing background, but not required

  • Preferred experience and knowledge on UFPโ€™s organization, culture, and product lines
