Job description

Technologist, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the 11th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) at Joint Base Anacostia Bolling (JBAB), Washington DC (20 MacDill Blvd. SE Washington DC)

Hours of support are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Duties include:

Provide on-site subject matter expertise in performing requirement definition, programming, planning, design development, integration with existing physical infrastructure and other projects, documentation, and project and construction management of facility and infrastructure projects of varying scopes and costs as well as environmental support of the base and facilities. Candidates will be expected to provide technical advice on facility and infrastructure requirements and environmental compliance of varying complexity in support of the 11CES at JBAB.

Requirements

Required Experience/Education:
At least three (3) years of experience developing plans, solutions, and electrical designs for facility and infrastructure projects and systems.
Desired Skills:
Demonstrable experience with reading and interpreting design and construction standards.
Demonstrable understanding of applicable OSHA standards.
Demonstrable understanding of UFC's.
