Job description

UCSF Fresno & Inspire Health – Non-Invasive Cardiology Faculty Opportunity

The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program and Central California Faculty Medical Group, dba Inspire Health are seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank with expertise in Noninvasive Cardiac Imaging. Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease, have excellent clinical and procedural skills, be willing to actively participate in medical education, and have experience and interest in clinical research. The successful candidate will direct Cardiac Fellow training in Noninvasive Imaging. This includes teaching and supervision of trainees. Faculty appointment with UCSF will be commensurate with the applicant's background and accomplishments. The UCSF Fresno Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, has a 3-year Cardiology Fellowship and a 1-year Advanced Imaging Fellowship.

The program is based in Fresno, California, where residents enjoy a high standard of living combined with a low cost of living. The result is a quality of life uniquely Californian, yet surprisingly affordable. Limitless recreational opportunities and spectacular scenery is all accessible in a community with abundant affordable housing. While there is much to see and do in Fresno, the city is ideally located for fast, convenient getaways to the majestic Sierra (just 90 minutes away) as well as the scenic Central Coast, just two and one-half hours away. Fresno is the only major city in the country with close proximity to three national parks, including renowned Yosemite National Park.

For positions exclusively funded by the affiliate organization: Inspire Health provided a reasonable salary estimate for this position $400,000-$550,000.
