  • Location: UCI Medical Center
  • Pay Rate: $39.73 an hour
  • Hours: Full-Time
  • Union: 911
  • Shift: Mon-Fri 5:30 AM- 2:30 PM

Requirements:
  • Class A or B license w/ Passenger Endorsement
  • Medical Certification
  • Must have at least 1 year or more of Class A or B licensed passenger driving experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with a regular Class C license
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • K-4 DMV printout (issued within the last 30 days) required
  • Recent Passenger Commercial Vehicle Driving experience
  • This position requires a professional appearance; visible tattoos must be covered

Spirit of the Position:
LAZ CDL Driver is responsible for the effective, efficient and safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the assigned destinations, and to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers.
Principle Job Duties:
  • Safely operating company vehicles.
  • G.E.T. 100 (Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest - 100% of the time).
  • Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers, if applicable.
  • Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver.

Requirements:
  • 2 or more years with a CDL license.
  • Comply with Federal DOT, State and Local Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License with proper endorsement(s).
  • Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 50lbs
  • Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift.
  • Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.)
