Salary Range: $20,446.44 - $26,382.50 annually. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. This position is expected to work 20 hours a week. This position is Non-Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.

Essential Functions
The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
  • Covering the front desk, which includes:
    • Greeting and checking in and outpatients/clients
    • Answering phone calls
    • Scheduling appointments
    • Answering questions and directing people to the proper resources.
  • Collecting patient/client payments, preparing tickets in Electronic Medical Record and providing walkout receipts to patients/clients.
  • Collecting and entering student immunization records into student information system and assisting with immunization tracking requirements.
  • File maintenance and purging of inactive charts, including scanning into Electronic Medical Record system.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire:
  • Must have One (1) year of experience working in a medical office, counseling office or as school setting(Substitution: Completion of Medical Administrative Assistant or similar program that includes internship hours from an accredited college, university or non-correspondence trade school, may substitute for experience.)
  • Experience working with Electronic Medical Record is preferred.
  • Experience working in a medical or counseling office setting is preferred.
  • Experience working in a college setting is preferred.
  • Experience working as a medical assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Intermediate skills to be able to use Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Words, Excel)is preferred.
  • Experience with student information systems is preferred.
