Seeking an AV Solutions Architect

Enterprise AV Design & Architecture

Design and standardization of conference rooms, collaboration spaces, executive boardrooms, and training environments.

Audio/Video Systems Expertise

Speaker placement, signal flow, audio pathways, video distribution, room acoustics, and control systems.

Deep experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Yealink, Cisco collaboration platforms, and emerging workplace technologies.

AV Design Documentation

Creating technical drawings, room standards, architecture diagrams, technology roadmaps, and deployment specifications.

Partnering with facilities, construction, workplace technology, vendors, and executive leadership to deliver enterprise AV solutions.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced AV Solutions Architect to lead the design, standardization, and strategic oversight of audiovisual technology across a large enterprise portfolio. This role is responsible for creating scalable AV architectures that support conference rooms, collaboration spaces, training centers, executive boardrooms, and other workplace environments.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AV systems design, room technology standards, audio pathways, speaker configurations, and modern collaboration platforms. This individual will serve as the technical authority responsible for ensuring consistency, performance, and innovation across all AV-enabled spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Lead enterprise-wide AV architecture and technology strategy.

Design AV solutions for small, medium, and large conference room environments.

Develop standards for audio, video, control systems, and collaboration technologies.

Create and maintain AV design documentation, diagrams, and room standards.

Evaluate and recommend AV technologies and hardware platforms.

Design speaker placement, audio pathways, signal flow, and room acoustics.

Partner with facilities, construction, and workplace technology teams on new builds and renovations.

Provide technical leadership for AV deployments and upgrades.

Ensure room technology aligns with enterprise collaboration and communication strategies.

Support vendor evaluations, proof of concepts, and technology roadmaps.

Act as the subject matter expert for enterprise AV infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in AV engineering, architecture, or enterprise collaboration technologies.

Experience designing AV solutions across multiple room types and enterprise environments.

Strong background in:

Speaker systems

Signal flow design

Audio pathways

Video distribution

Room control systems

Conferencing technologies

Experience with:

Yealink

Microsoft Teams Rooms

Cisco Collaboration Technologies

Enterprise AV platforms

Ability to read and create technical AV design documentation.
