Position: UAV/UGV Technicians

Location: Churchville, MD

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen

Summary

SURVICE is seeking to hire multiple full-time Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) / Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) Technicians with mechanical and/or electrical skills and experience in support of our Applied Technology Operation located in Churchville, Maryland involved in UAV/UGV research and development and UAV flight operations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities of the UAV/UGV Technician:

  • Design mechanical components and sub-assemblies
  • Develop production documentation that may include assembly drawings and procedures
  • Assemble parts into sub-units or complete units, including sub-assembly, process assembly, inspection modifications, upgrades, and rework
  • Repair and maintain UAV/UGV systems

Preferred Qualifications for the UAV/UGV Technician

Trade degree/certification preferred, with relevant mechanical and/or electrical assembly skills and experience.

  • Experience building mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies in a laboratory or production environment
  • Ability to develop mechanical and/or electrical drawings
  • Experience with SolidWorks is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Team player with initiative and effective communication skills
  • Part 107 License Preferred
