Position: Warehouse Technician

Location: Churchville, MD

Compensation: $20/HR to $25/HR Depending on Experience and Education

Position Summary

SURVICE is seeking to a Warehouse Technician to deliver tactical resupply unmanned aerial systems and other advanced technologies to the Department of Defense. The warehouse technician operates machinery to move materials for shipping, processing and receiving and also unloads, scans, stages, loads, locates, picks, ships, and receives items. The Warehouse Technician will work with our inventory, production, and logistics specialists to ensure safe and precise handling, storage, and delivery of items in support of our Applied Technology Operation located in Churchville, Maryland involved in UAV/UGV research and development and UAV flight operations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities of the Warehouse Technician:

  • Assist with recording and organizing materials received, recording data into inventory system.
  • Locate and move products to production workers, storage, and shipping areas
  • Operate hand trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to transport items
  • Assist with building and assembly of UAS subsystems and vehicles as needed.

Preferred Qualifications for the Warehouse Technician

High School Diploma and experience with the following:

  • Material handling
  • Shipping/receiving
  • Costpoint
  • Inventory management
  • Organization
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency.
  • Data entry
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Must have high sense of urgency
  • Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs
  • Flexibility for possible second or night shift work
