Job description

Driver/Laborer

Personnel shall provide labor required for Warehouse and Distribution Center services. Services will be performed at Fort Eustis, VA at the ATSC Warehouse. Personnel must achieve and maintain forklift operator licenses. Position may require prolonged standing and the ability to lift 50-75lbs. Personnel shall perform all services relating to performance of specific tasks including receiving, storing, prepackaging, destruction/recycling, inventory control and security, and shipping of Combat Lifesaver Courses (CLS), TRADOC Pamphlet 600-4 The Soldier's Blue Book, Graphic Training Aids (GTA), Center for Lessons Learned (CALL) publications, The Army Training System Courseware (TATS-C), OPFOR Clothing, targets and training products printed or distributed by ATSC.

Duties may involve pick up and/or delivery of instructional training materials/mailing labels required to be shipped by UPS or FedEx; protecting materials from the weather elements; delivering materials to and offload at warehouse storage area; transporting metered mail products and loading them into USPS, UPS, FedEx or other commercial trucks, and other duties as specified by the Lead Driver/Laborer.

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials in compliance with security and safety protocols.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare shipments for delivery to secure and non-secure locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with audits.
  • Follow all OSHA, facility, and security guidelines, including those related to CAC access.
