Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement endtoend automation solutions using Tungsten TotalAgility (TTA / Kofax TotalAgility), including:

    • Workflow / process orchestration using Process Designer
    • Document Capture and ingestion pipelines
    • Forms Designer for user interaction and task handling
  • Build intelligent document processing solutions supporting:

    • OCR for structured, semistructured, and unstructured documents, including handwritten content
    • Document classification, data extraction, validation rules, exception handling, and document separation
    • Integration with configurable OCR engines (e.g., OmniPage, Azure OCR, or other supported engines)
  • Lead development of claims and documentdriven workflows, where documents are uploaded, classified, validated, and routed through approval and exception processes.

  • Perform handson development using:

    • .NET technologies (C#, VB.NET where applicable)
    • JavaScript for scripting, UI logic, and workflow/form customization
  • Design and implement enterprise integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, SQL Server, and downstream systems.

  • Support greenfield platform setup and configuration, including:

    • Environment readiness
    • Deployments and packaging
    • Basic infrastructure awareness (IIS, authentication, integrations)
  • Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design guidance, and collaboration with offshore development teams.


Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong handson experience with Tungsten TotalAgility (formerly Kofax TotalAgility), including:

    • Workflow / Process Designer
    • Document Capture
    • Forms Designer
  • Proven experience building and configuring TotalAgility solutions, not just providing production support.

  • Solid understanding of intelligent document processing concepts, including:

    • OCR
    • Document classification and extraction
    • Validation rules and exception handling
  • .NET development experience (C# required; VB.NET exposure a plus)

  • JavaScript experience for scripting and UI/workflow logic

  • Integration experience using REST, SOAP, and SQL

  • Familiarity with deployment and runtime considerations such as IIS and authentication


Preferred Experience
  • Experience in Life Insurance, Claims Processing, or Financial Services
  • Prior work on enterprisescale document automation or IDP implementations
  • Exposure to greenfield implementations or platform migrations (e.g., legacy systems to TotalAgility)
  • Experience with handwritten document processing and mixed document types
This role offers the opportunity to own and shape a new Tungsten TotalAgility implementation supporting missioncritical document and claims workflows, working closely with business stakeholders and an offshore development team.
Role Summary

Experience: 8+ years
We are seeking a Lead Developer with strong handson experience in Tungsten Automation (formerly Kofax TotalAgility) to lead the greenfield implementation of an intelligent document and process automation platform for a large enterprise client. This role is highly technical and handson (approximately 80% development / 20% technical leadership) and will focus on endtoend workflow orchestration tightly integrated with document capture, OCR, classification, extraction, and validation.

The ideal candidate has built and configured TotalAgility solutions, not just supported them, and is comfortable owning new implementations from initial design through production.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $125,000 - $145,000/ yearly.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
