As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and badge access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming, orderly environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and help control authorized movement throughout the facility.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Document daily activities, unusual occurrences, and access-control concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
