Job Summary:

The Network & System Engineer will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure, supporting both office and manufacturing operations across multiple North American sites.
Responsibilities:
• Support and maintain IT infrastructure mainly in the TVC site, and potentially across multiple sites (US) in accordance with BEL Group standards.
• Work on advanced administration support (switch, firewall, VMware, phone), infrastructure changes and problem resolution
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents and problems within defined SLAs
• Provide guidance and technical support to local IT Technicians
• Execute maintenance activities, patching, and upgrades on infrastructure components
• Monitor network and system performance and proactively address issues
• Ensure availability and stability of infrastructure supporting office and manufacturing environments
• Participate in preventive maintenance and continuous improvement actions
• Support the implementation of infrastructure projects (network upgrades, server deployments, site improvements)
• Contribute to infrastructure changes in coordination with corporate IT teams
• Participate in testing, validation, and deployment activities
• Provide technical input for hardware and software evaluations
• Apply and maintain infrastructure configurations in alignment with BEL Group security standards
• Support deployment and operation of security solutions in coordination with the Cybersecurity team
• Contribute to compliance and remediation actions when required
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation (network diagrams, configurations, procedures)
• Contribute to documentation for projects, changes, and operational processes and the Team knowledge base.
• Act as a technical point of contact between sites and corporate IT teams
• Collaborate with plant teams, IS Project Managers, and engineering teams
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and external partners as needed
• Ensure proper communication during incidents, changes, and project activities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure (network and systems) within a multi-site environment
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a structured manner
• Good documentation and organization skills
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work in a multi-site, collaborative environment
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Must be able work in normal office conditions and in the manufacturing plant and warehouses
• Must be able to work 8 hours per day and be on his/her feet for extended periods of time
• Must be able to travel via airplane within the U.S. and Internationally
Preferred:
• Experience supporting both office and manufacturing environments is a plus
