Job description

WROC-TV, Rochesterfirst.com have a part-time paid internship available for undergraduate students through The New York State Broadcasters Association. This program allows the ideal candidates the opportunity to experience firsthand how a television station operates. Candidates will spend time in key departments within the television station, such as News Operations, Production/Creative Services, Digital Operations, Technical/Engineering, among other things.
The ideal candidates MUST demonstrate professionalism and strive to reach the highest standard of excellence. Interns are required to work a specified schedule and work in business attire. They must also possess a strong collaborative spirit and understand the vision and creativity necessary to put on a newscast. The ideal candidate should have strong comprehensive writing and communication skills. Applicants must be at least 17 years of age. Residents of New York State and/or attending school in New York. Must have own transportation and flexibility in hours scheduled.
Salary Range: $16.00 Hourly
