DTVA creates both long-form and short-form content spanning traditional 2D, rig-based 2D, CG (preschool), CG (premium), and stop-motion. We create shows in a broad range of unique and innovative styles, and we aim to match the right talent with the right production in terms of skill and artistic style. What You Will Do The Script Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and tracking script materials throughout the Development or Production process. This involves the day-to-day production workflow as being a liaison to the production team and writing team, while organizing information for casting and recording. Is the communication hub of a television series script status and distribution. This is in addition to being an overall series of support that may refer to the day-to-day job duties of a Production Department Secretary, which may include calendaring, expense reports and credits. Responsibilities Ensuring that Executive Producer, Story Editor, Writers, Directors are all working from the most current version of the script. Take notes during writer's meetings, story note meetings, record meetings and animatic reviews that may then be put into a conformed master script. Ensure that executive notes are received in a timely manner, accurately transcribed, and saved in the appropriate format. Format scripts according to studio standards, while maintaining and distributing all script drafts, revisions, and related documentation. Responsible for proofreading, filing, cataloguing, and distributing all premises, outlines, script drafts and revisions. Along with maintaining writing script status report and AirTable. Generate physical scripts for recording sessions (record drafts), as well as pickup and ADR sheets. Update and organise files and database of all premises, outlines and drafts of each script, including submissions. Ensure continuity between scripts and final recorded dialogue. Conform scripts to edited dialogue and action of all animatics, locked picture, and final mixed picture. Archive script versions and maintain accurate records throughout production. Track pickup and ADR lines. Work in conjunction with the Line Producer, Casting, Music, and Record team ensuring all pertinent materials are prepared for Recording sessions. Brings to the attention of the Producer and Line Producer of any script delays that may affect Music and Audio record delays. Post record memos or music lyrics to show production servers. Conform music lyrics from the locked animatic and send for Legal/Standards & Practices approval. Partner with Story Editor on Logline documentation, ensuring it is updated and distributed. Continued support within Production, as required with duties that fall within Production Secretary: Maintaining production calendar. Coordinating and scheduling meetings for Executive Producers, Producer and Line Producer. Completing travel authorisations and coordinating travel for production crew both domestic and international. Ordering supplies for crew/production through SAP E-Source and approved vendors. Increasing crew morale by suggesting and organising team-building activities (crew potlucks, birthday celebrations, etc.). Point person for facilities; contact operations for crew needs. Filing & Photocopying as needed. Distribution of materials. Additional duties as necessary, or as defined by individual contracts. Compiling, ensuring accuracy and distributing show credits. Completing expense reports as per DTVA procedures.
