CBS Newspath is seeking an MMJ/Reporter to join our news team. This role will be based in Las Vegas.
We are looking for a self-motivated, curious storyteller with a love for shooting, writing, and editing national stories of interest, including consumer and health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pitch daily story ideas, gather news and information for various platforms including TV and digital
• Will work with producers and news managers on developing, researching, investigating, writing, producing, and presenting stories as needed for both TV and digital platforms
• Present completed news stories that are accurate, journalistically sound, fair and balanced
• Will report live during affiliate newscasts in cities around the country, including breaking news as needed
• Will shoot, edit, coordinate, manage, conduct, and video record interviews
• Build contacts for developing impactful original stories
• Flexibility with respect to scheduling and/or assigned work shifts
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MSJ/ Television Reporter Experience
• Proven interview skills
• A valid driver's license
• Minimum 5 years' experience writing, producing and desktop editing
Education Requirements:
• College Degree Required or Equivalent Experience

Hiring Salary Range: $120,000.00 - 150,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
