Job description

Reports to: Athletic Director and Assistant Athletic Director

Position Summary: Maintains a clean welcoming environment for the Athletic Department female members and guests.

Essential Functions:
  • At the beginning and the end of the day turn on/off lights, television, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room.
  • Wash and scrub showers, sinks, toilets and walls
  • Thoroughly clean steam room, sauna, and Jacuzzi
  • Daily laundry service, wash, dry, and replace clothes in members lockers
  • Bring used towels and robes to laundry area, replenish area with clean ones
  • Empty all garbage bins
  • Vacuum or mop all floors
  • Dust outside of lockers, wipe inside of guest lockers
  • Thoroughly clean all counter tops, window sills and makeup areas
  • Clean all mirrors and glass (i.e. tables, doors, etc.)
  • Use barbicide to clean all brushes and combs
  • Keep toiletry and accessory containers clean
  • Polish all chrome areas including chrome sink in seating area
  • Monitor water cooler bottle levers and cup supplies
  • Put out coffee, snacks and fruit
  • Keep honor bar area well stocked and clean
  • Change sheets in nap room, dust furniture, clean lamp shade and base
  • Turn in inventory sheets for toiletries and supplies
  • Education: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.

    Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred.

    Additional Skills: Ability to perform medium to hard manual labor, must be mobile and able to perform kneeling and reaching motions for thorough cleaning.
