Position Summary:

Maison d'tude Academy is seeking a qualified and experienced Elementary & High School French Tutor to provide in-person academic support to high school students in Montreal, QC. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, proven teaching or tutoring experience, and the ability to inspire confidence and curiosity in their students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-person, one-on-one tutoring in elementary & high school level French.
  • Reinforce core concepts through targeted practice, assignments, and supplementary resources.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with students' families regarding progress and goals.
  • Accurately log sessions and notes using our internal scheduling system.
  • Support students in developing independent study habits and long-term academic skills.

Qualification:

  • University degree in a relevant field (Education or French preferred).
  • Minimum 12 years of tutoring or teaching experience at the high school level.
  • Strong knowledge of Quebec curriculum standards in French.
