Turret Operator Min. Qualifications: 2 years of experience in turret punch operations Experience with the following Amada equipment: Vipros 255, Vipros 358, EMK3610NT, EM K 3612 M2, EML K 3610NT Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills Experience using precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers and squares Must be legally authorized to work in the US Must be able to complete a drug screen Experience Require: Primary Functions: Set up and run turret punches to create parts that comply with customer and internal requirements Install, align, and change punches and dies as needed Load materials into machines Read work orders and production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, machine setup configurations and dimensions and tolerances Grind off burrs or sharp edges using portable grinders Keep machines and work area clear of scrap, trash, and debris Operate material handling equipment proficiently and safely Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates and rulers Resolve problems relating to materials, operations, quality or other factors as they arise Other duties as assigned Physical Demands: 20/20 vision with or without correction, use of hands 100% of the time, stand, bend, stoop, twist, turn.
