What You'll Do
As a Turret Operator, you'll operate an Amada CNC Turret Press to produce precision sheet metal parts while ensuring every part meets our quality standards.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
  •  Set up and operate an Amada CNC turret press. 
  •  Install tooling in the punch head according to work orders and production requirements. 
  •  Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, routers, and work instructions. 
  •  Load and unload sheet metal into the machine safely and efficiently. 
  •  Remove completed sheets, separate finished parts from scrap, and deburr parts using a grinder or file. 
  •  Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications. 
  •  Change materials and assist with worktable changes as needed. 
  •  Perform routine preventative maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning of equipment. 
  •  Accurately complete production paperwork and update computer records. 
  •  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. 
  •  Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures. 
  •  Assist with other duties as needed to support the production team.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a strong work ethic, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Qualifications:

  •  Minimum 10th-grade education. 
  •  At least six months of machine operating experience. 
  •  Previous mechanical experience is a plus. 
  •  Ability to read blueprints and work instructions. 
  •  Basic math skills. 
  •  Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 
  •  Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. 
  •  Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. 
Physical Requirements
This is an active manufacturing position requiring frequent movement and material handling throughout the shift.
Candidates should be able to:
  •  Stand for up to 10 hours per shift. 
  •  Frequently push, pull, grip, and handle materials. 
  •  Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally. 
  •  Work with large sheets of metal and move worktables as needed. 
  •  Bend, stoop, reach, and walk throughout the shift. 
  •  Safely work around manufacturing equipment. 
  •  Have good vision, including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
