Compensation:

$29 - $35 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Operate horizontal directional drills, ensuring precision and safety in all drilling activities.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and execute drilling projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and your team.
  • Communicate clearly with project managers and team members to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that arise during drilling to minimize downtime.
  • Document project progress and equipment usage accurately for reporting and analysis purposes.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in operating horizontal directional drills, specifically Ditch Witch JT10, JT25, and JT28, or comparable models.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to plan and execute drilling projects efficiently.
  • Proven track record of adhering to safety protocols and regulations in a construction environment.
  • Skill in conducting pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on drilling equipment.
  • Strong communication skills to ensure alignment with project managers and team members.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues to minimize downtime.
  • Ability to document project progress and equipment usage accurately for reporting purposes.
