At Ryan Lawn & Tree, we're looking for a Turf Trainee who's ready to be both a skilled technician and a trusted advisor - the person homeowners call when their lawn needs saving and the person who delivers results that actually last.
What You'll Do
  • Own your route. Manage a route of 400-500 customers, delivering consistent, high-quality service on every visit.
  • Learn to diagnose and solve. Identify lawn problems others can't see and prescribe specific solutions that actually work for each individual property.
  • Deliver the full package. Complete turf bid requests, fertilization applications, aeration, seeding, and service calls across your customer base.
  • Be the expert. Develop a thorough knowledge of turfgrass practices as well as all other Ryan services so you can be a true resource for your customers.
  • Build relationships. Provide excellent account management and customer service - earning the trust of homeowners who take pride in their outdoor spaces.

What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license; ability to obtain DOT certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a state-issued pesticide applicator license (turfgrass) within 3 months
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • A curious, problem-solving mindset and a genuine love for the outdoors
