EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, and SKILLS REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, friendliness, and ability to build rapport are required.
  • Possess the ability to learn and communicate technical, industry-related data pertaining to the services to be sold.
  • Has a clean-cut, professional image, sense of pride, integrity, courage, self-motivation, attention to detail, perseverance, follow-up skills, and dependability.
  • Displays a positive demeanor, professionalism, and desire to please potential and existing customers.
  • Enjoy working independently.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS and DUTIES

  • Cultivates lawns, using a power aerator according to specifications:
  • Pierces soil to make holes for fertilizer and water, using an aerator.
  • May care for athletic field turf.
  • Must be able to attend regular meetings with a consistent presence at the office, on the job sites, and all pertinent meetings.
  • Meet weekly deadlines or based on Supervisor’s request
  • Continually build relationships and promote excellent customer service, integrity, and professionalism
  • Perform all other duties assigned

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
Must possess the ability to use telephone, computer, and other required technology.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS / SCHEDULE
Extensive walking, bending and lifting. This position requires the ability to work 4-Days per week approximately 8 hours per day. This position reports to the Lawn Care Supervisor.

REQUIRED PHYSICAL and MENTAL DEMANDS
Requires mental alertness and hearing. Requires constant use of telephone and other technology associated with Lawn Care/ Aeration position. Must possess physical ability and stamina to work outdoors.
