Job Summary
Provides general support for Athletics facilities, events, and sports turf/grounds operations. Assists full-time staff with day-to-day maintenance, event setup and breakdown, facility upkeep, and operational support across athletic venues and outdoor sports turf areas.
Responsibilities
Assists with general upkeep, cleaning, maintenance, and operational support of Athletics facilities and event spaces.
Supports athletic events through setup, breakdown, equipment movement, and other event-related duties.
Assists with sports turf and grounds maintenance including mowing, raking, debris removal, field preparation, and related outdoor tasks.
Helps maintain safe, clean, and functional athletic facilities and competition/practice surfaces.
Performs other duties as assigned in support of Athletics facilities, events, and sports turf operations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • One year of related experience; demonstrated knowledge of general maintenance and related tools or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience);
  • Climb step ladders/scaffolding
  • Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills required
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while on shift
  • Must be able to lift 60 lbs
  • Must be able to work extended periods in direct sunlight
  • Must have a valid US Driver's License
